Dr Claudia Brown is a registered Specialist Periodontist with the General Dental Council. She is a nationally and internationally respected educator, lecturer and examiner with over twenty years of experience in dentistry, education and research. She now works predominantly in private specialist practice and has served as a postgraduate examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She has worked as a Specialist Clinical Teacher in Periodontology and clinical teacher in Oral surgery at Kings College London.
Dr Brown qualified from UMDS (Guy's Hospital) and holds an MSc and MClin Dent in Periodontology from King's College London awarded with merit, together with the MFDS of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the MRD of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Her clinical interests include multidisciplinary treatment planning, the perio–endo interface and periodontal-systemic health. Committed to delivering evidence-based care, she keeps abreast of the latest advances in periodontology and incorporates advanced technologies, including Waterlase laser therapy and CBCT imaging into her specialist practice.
She has been featured in interviews for Private Dentistry and British Society of Periodontology publications and has received nominations for awards in recognition of her contributions to dentistry and oral health equality. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Women's Dental Network and is also a member of the British Society of Periodontology. She is passionate about improving patient outcomes through interdisciplinary collaboration.
