Emma is an academic oral surgery trainee at Newcastle University who has dedicated my clinical and academic practice to acute and persistent pain management. Her PhD involves the development of a lab-based model for persistent neuropathic orofacial pain, mechanistic dissection, and target recognition with an aim to improve pain management options for patients in the future.
