The prize will be open to any undergraduate dental student in a dental school within the United Kingdom or a dental graduate from one of these schools who has been on the Dentist’s Register for no more than one year on 30th June in each year of application. Awarded annually to a final year undergraduate student from each of the UK based dental schools. The prize consists of a year’s free membership of the BES, a certificate of merit and free registration at the BES Spring Scientific meeting during the year of membership. The winner from each school will be nominated by the head of endodontic teaching at that school. Read More.

The prize is open to any member of the BES, who has been on the GDC register for up to five years. This prize is not open to Foundation Dentists in their first training year (DF1). Those members who have completed or are on Taught Masters programs in Endodontics are not eligible to enter. Read More.

As a result of COVID-19 and the subsequent cancellation of the Spring Scientific Meeting 2020, and the Regional Meeting 2020 being an online event, the 2020 BES Poster Prize was cancelled. Unfortunately, in early 2021, the situation with Covid 19 is still causing uncertainty, and so the 2021 Spring Scientific Meeting has now been moved to Thursday 14th October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Stratford Upon Avon.
