Editor in Chief of the IEJ Professor Paul Dummer steps down

After 23 years as Editor of the International Endodontic Journal, Professor Paul Dummer has announced that he will retire from the role at the end of 2021. The Society wishes to offer its heartfelt appreciation of the tremendous role Paul has played in bringing the IEJ to its latest position with the Impact Factor of the IEJ in 2019 being a record high of 3.801. The Journal was also ranked 6th out of the 91 included in the Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Medicine category, its highest ever place and once again is the top-ranked journal in the field of Endodontology!

As a consequence of his retirement the BES and Wiley Publishers are looking for a new Editor-in –Chief to take over in the autumn of 2021. Full details of the post are to be found here and applications are now invited.
