Join the BES Early Career Group Committee
Nominations are open for BES Members to be a part of the Early Career Group (ECG) 2026 committee.
The BES ECG is an exciting initiative to engage with dental professionals at the early stage of their career who share a passion for and interest in Endodontics. The aim is to support dentists by providing high quality education and training, helping to improve the quality of Endodontic care amongst newly qualifying dentists in primary and secondary care settings and linking early career members with more experienced endodontists to act as a forum for dentists to network and exchange information.
We would like to invite you to join the organising team so that the content of the education and support provided by the ECG can be tailored directly to your needs. We are looking for a maximum of 5 BES members who can represent the following categories of Early Career Clinicians:
- Newly Qualified Dentists with a Masters in Endodontics or Endodontology
- Specialty Trainee in Endodontics or Restorative Dentistry Representative
- General Dental Practitioner Representative
- Dental Core Trainee Representative
- Dental Foundation Trainee Representative
- Undergraduate Representative
The role will be for the duration of one year from March to March.
What the role will involve:
- Attendance at virtual or face to face committee meetings run by the Chair and Vice-Chairs of the ECG 2-3 times per year.
- Contribute to the planning of the annual ECG study day held in July of every year and any other ECG related events
- Assist in the running of the above ECG events.
- Facilitate engagement of attendance at ECG events.
- Influence the development and growth of the group.
How to join:
- Complete the nomination form attached.
- Self-nominations to join the BES ECG committee MUST be from BES members.
- The nomination should be supported by a proposal from a FULL BES member (not an Undergraduate Member)
Nominations must be received by: SUNDAY 22nd FEBRUARY 2026 by 23.59 hrs
