After qualifying from Trinity College Dublin in 2002, Daniel spent a year as a House Officer in the Dublin Dental Hospital, concentrating on both restorative dentistry and oral surgery.
Following this, he worked in private practice and completed the MFDS exams before beginning a 3-year programme in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute. He was subsequently awarded the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD), by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and entered onto the General Dental Council’s Specialist List for Endodontics.
Daniel has dedicated the last 5 years to testing various file systems and materials and setup Toothsaver.co.uk to share his finding. He has just launched a new training center in Greenwich London to help dentists improve minimally invasive root canal treatment and endodontic microsurgery techniques.
In practice he receives referrals from a range of practicing dentists and has worked hard to streamline workflows to ensure high quality efficient treatments.
Daniel lectures and provides hands-on courses for dentists both in the UK and internationally and has taught Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Healthcare Sciences.
Daniel enjoys skiing, playing golf, football and squash, and spending time with his young family.
