The event was aimed towards early career dentists with an interest in endodontics, current postgraduates preparing for the MEndo examination and recently qualified postgraduates setting out in practice.  The event was a very well attended and a huge success.  Comments from the attendees included:

The newly qualified dentists with an interest in endodontics were treated to fantastic lectures on common endodontic challenges from Dr Nick Longbridge, Dr Mike Horrocks, Dr Daniel Vaz de Souza and Dr Dipti Mehta.  Postgraduates preparing for the MEndo examination had the benefit of hearing about the examination first hand from Dr Phil Tomson and Dr Rob Crawford of the Royal College of Surgeons, England and Dr Tim O’Brien and Professor Alison Qualtrough of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.  Professor Phil Lumley and Dr Maria Lessani kindly facilitated examination preparation via mock vivas for this group.  The recently qualified postgraduates had the opportunity to listen to Dr Sanjeev Bhanderi, Dr Maria Lessani, Dr Kate Blundell and Dr Luis Ferrandez speaking about optimising workflow in endodontic practice.
