2022 Awards & Prizes

The BES has introduced an increasing number of awards in recent years to recognise the outstanding skills of those in the field of endodontology. From awards to encourage the new generation of dentists, early careers prizes, aspiring research prizes through to acknowledging the outstanding skills of lecturers at our UK dental Schools.

At our Regional Meeting in Cardiff last week, we presented the following prize winners with their 2022 awards:

• Robert Smith – The General Dental Practitioner Prize

• Reece Bushell – Harty Student Essay Prize

• Harvinder Singh Chahal – The Foundation Dentist Prize

• Sadia Niazi – Inspirational Full Time lecturer Prize

• Sally McCarthy - Aspiring Endodontic Researcher Award

• Gillian Boswell - Inspirational Part Time lecturer Prize

• Noushad Rahim – BES Poster Prize

We offer our congratulations to all the prize winners. We also would like to thank all those that contributed and submitted entries for 2022 that, on this occasion, were unsuccessful. All your efforts in supporting these awards are gratefully appreciated and an inspiration to those aspiring to progress a career within our specialist field.
